Yes, you can see outside. While the exterior reflects the surroundings, the interior design typically allows for clear views of the outside through specially designed windows that do not compromise the reflective exterior.
How private is an ÖÖD mirror house?
ÖÖD mirror houses are designed with privacy in mind. The reflective surfaces generally prevent others from seeing inside during the day, but, depending on lighting conditions, the reflective surfaces may allow some visibility into the house at night if lights are on inside. We have included curtains in our home to ensure your comfort at all times.
Is staying in an OOD mirror house safe for wildlife?
Yes, ÖÖD mirror houses often include bird-safe glass or patterns that prevent birds from flying into the reflective surfaces. Here is the explanation from OOD Housed: "We use UV film stickers on all of our ÖÖD houses. These stickers reflect ultraviolet light, which birds can see but humans can’t. When light reflects, birds understand that there is an object on their way and they'll change direction. Our goal has always been to blend into nature without hurting it."
How does the temperature inside an ÖÖD mirror house stay comfortable?
OOD mirror houses are designed to be energy efficient, with thermal insulation and reflective surfaces that help regulate indoor temperatures, keeping it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Additionally, our mirror home is equipped with heat and air conditioning and heated floors to keep you comfortable year round.

What are quiet hours?
While the property is private and offers a beautiful environment, it is located a short 6 miles from Conway, so there are houses in proximity. We strive to be good neighbors, so we ask that you maintain a respectful noise level from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
What exactly is a dry county?
Some of our guests from out of state may be less familiar with local liquor laws, but Faulkner county is a dry county. This means the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited and you won't find stores or bars selling alcohol. However, most local restaurants do serve alcohol.
